We are in the era where the internet, the social media and the creditability of news is being questioned by the enormous network of people around the world. What have happened is a lot to do with the social media. People are communicating in social media. Tweeting has a big big impact on how people are viewing the world. The most interesting development is the fact the creditability of people as well as religion are being influenced by the internet.
Since the arrival of IT followed by AI disruptions, society has changed so has people’s attitude. Cyber platform has equally given people rewards and challenges such as indefinite know-how, useful information as well as fake news and bullying speeches. For the spiritual sphere, the issue comes up with how we make good use of this platform to outreach to and translate the Buddhist teachings to make sense to the wild range of the digital page fans. The fact is no matter of when and where, human beings still have a lot of suffering; particularly younger generations have a lot of doubt. Therefore, teaching religion and practice have to respond to the suffering of modern people and the real world situations.
The Abbot Dhammajayo saw the consequences of IT and AI disruption, and was concerned about decreased engagement in younger-generationed Buddhists. He knew that the young adults are both evidence and upholders of Buddhism’s multivocality.

The program was rich with Buddhist philosophy and aimed at providing knowledge and understanding of the truth of life to the audiences, which thorough the on-air period gained the massive hit, given the host being hugely popular amongst Thai and international viewers alike.
The Inner Dreams Kindergarten has played an important role in connecting many lay practitioners to the deeper understanding of Theravada teachings and Dhammakaya tradition. The fact was the host successfully made the content more accessible and fun to the modern viewers.
The purpose of the Inner Dreams program was not to convert people to Buddhism. The purpose was to live Buddhism as a path of understanding and practice. Its multinational and diverse ethnic audience do not have to become Buddhists. They can continue to be a Jew, a Christian, or a Muslim, and they can do exactly the same thing as Buddhists do in the tradition of Buddhism and finally they all arrive at the same result. The Inner Dreams program thinks it is unwise to require its diverse ethnic fans to fight against their original culture in order to appear adhering to Buddhism perfectly. The program instead advocates the embrace of the complexity of its viewer’s heritage and roots, even if those roots are sometimes mixed strangely with Buddhist beliefs.
That is why it can be claimed that the Inner Dreams has created a global spirituality or global ethic community. By this way, the around the globe viewers could share the Buddha’s path, the way of cultivating understanding and love with people in other traditions. And this is why teaching with skill on communication and reconciliation is crucial.

The significant feature charming the Inner Dreams program’s viewers to glue the screen throughout the 2-hour daily live broadcast was the host’s way of rendering his teachings was easier for people to understand, even children. But that does not mean these Teachings do not have a strong Buddhist base. In fact, all the given Dhamma knowledge in the Inner Dreams was solid and valid and relevant to the modern times as well coincide with what are written in the Pali cannon. Regular viewers found the Inner Dreams TV had provided them with enough teachings to follow all their lives. This is something amazing.
Generally, the foundation of the Inner Dreams teachings was the emphasis on the belief in past and future lives. The host believed that the idea of former and future life was essential to the real practice of Buddhism. Human beings have to be scared of where they are going in the next life to have the energy to overcome their deeper instincts. So, the Abbot Dhammajayo has tirelessly taught the Buddhist-oriented Dhamma knowledge wishing that his program’s viewers would understand that everything is interconnected. If they know they are endlessly interconnected, then every little thing counts and it would give them the drive in engaging in wholesome behaviors and embedding meditation practice as part of their life’s activity.
Being a Buddhist meditation teaching monk, he understands even though many intellectual people in the secular society know that to be happy, they should live in the present moment, but the habit energy that has been there for a long time is always pushing them to rush around, so they have lost their capacity to be in the present moment in order to lead their life deeply. That is why he always says that the practice of meditation is important, and talking is not enough. People have to practice enough to really stop their running around so that they can establish themselves in the present moment. That is the very beginning of the practice: stopping. Stopping, looking deeply, and finding happiness and attainment—that is the Buddhist path.
The Inner Dreams built a successful track record as it was having the new generation particularly the millenniums joining the network, and the Temple built a strong and contemporary mentor team working to help the new audiences ease into the program’s community. This is an interesting developments and needs to be widen as various incidents demonstrating the nuanced experiences of young generations showed that many young Buddhists and even new adults do not fit into easy typologies of traditional experience or customary culture. Some Buddhist studies recommended that the welcoming system is an attractive Buddhist custom which should be implemented faster particularly to ensure the numbers of viewers is not shrinking.

What would prove me wrong only that if there is a big break down of the community’s harmony but it has yet seen that is happening. What is outstanding about the Temple’s community is people inside it are very polite that is very important because that is the feeling of respect which is very nice. It is a certain style of reassurance which is very outstanding and unusual.
Of course, there are rooms of improvement because there are challenges along the way moving ahead. Actually it has already had some improvements and changing taken place especially the willingness to adapt to new ideas. Apart from that, there is the enthusiastic support in many innovations; it implies that people in charge understand the change in the system in a deeper layer will make them look better and excel. And that is significant because if people are not confident of that, then nothing is going to change or improve.
Looking into the people working behind the Inner Dreams program to see their behavior and their objective, it is clear that the program can continue as their intention is to make this Dhamma program useful and beneficial. Even though the pioneer host may have absented from the screen due to his personal health, working schedule and random accusations but he is a kind of person who will never let what he has created fall apart and his followers know well each passing day has only inflamed the absence host’s passion for good projects even more.
